Rick recently retired after 32 years in local, state and federal law enforcement. As a Special Agent in the U.S. Treasury for the past 21 years, he investigated white-collar and financial crimes related to tax evasion, money laundering and Bank Secrecy Act violations. Serving in various cities and field offices, he held the positions of Public Information Officer, Supervisory Special Agent and Assistant Special Agent in Charge. While assigned to headquarters in Washington, D.C. he served as a liaison to both Congress and the intelligence community. Prior to relocating to New Orleans, Rick served as Secretary, Treasurer and President of his McLean, VA HOA. Rick and his husband have owed a home in the Bywater since 2017 and been full-time residents since 2021.
