Crescent Park

Running almost the full length of the riverfront between the Bywater and Marigny for 1.4 miles, Crescent park covers 20 acres of reclaimed wharf and industrial space.  The park has a dog run, two public parking lots, bike paths, two multi-use pavilions and two above grade crossings (including the iconic Rusty Rainbow designed by David Adjaye at Piety St). The park blends industrial and natural settings making a great spot to see local flora and fauna as well picturesque views of the city skyline

Park Hours listed by the City are 6:00 am- 7:30 PM every day.

There is a long term plan to continue the riverfront to the Moonwalk and Woldenberg park which  both are adjacent to the French Quarter.

See the plan being implemented by Audubon Nature Institute.
